Block Potion

Block Potion is a common potion that grants 12 Block when used. This flat Block value is applied directly to your character, reducing incoming damage by 12 for that turn. It is obtainable from enemy drops, shop purchases, and select events throughout the spire.

Block Potion is a reliable defensive tool that shines in moments of emergency — when an enemy is about to deal a large hit and your hand lacks sufficient Block cards. Its 12 Block is respectable at any point in the game, though it becomes relatively less impactful in the late game when enemies can deal 30 or more damage in a single attack. It is especially valuable for characters like the Ironclad and Silent who have weaker natural Block generation, and it can substitute for a block card on turns when you draw none. Saving it for elite or boss fights rather than spending it on regular enemies will generally yield the most value.
