Cultist Potion

Cultist Potion is a rare potion that applies 1 Ritual to your character when used. Ritual is a buff that grants 1 Strength at the end of each turn. Each stack of Ritual generates 1 Strength per turn, so the potion provides a permanent and compounding Strength gain over the course of combat. It is obtained through enemy drops, shop purchases, or events.

Cultist Potion is most powerful in long fights where the compounding Strength from Ritual accumulates significantly. In a 10-turn fight, 1 Ritual generates a total of 10 Strength over the combat, which for a character like the Ironclad with multi-hit attacks translates to massive total bonus damage. It pairs naturally with the Ironclad and is especially potent alongside cards like Limit Break that double your current Strength. Used early in a boss fight, even a single Ritual stack will have provided several Strength by the time the boss dies. The main limitation is that in fast, short fights, Ritual has less time to accumulate value.
