Hay Pile

The Hay Pile is a loose mound of golden straw, the kind of item that instantly implies a working farm, a stable yard, or a countryside harvest scene. Crafted from Sturdy Sticks and Leaves, it contributes to both the Nature sub-score and a small Greenery score, and carries a warmth and organic softness that few outdoor items match. It reads naturally beside a Cart, Wooden Crate, or Wooden Birdhouse for a rustic farm aesthetic, or stacked against a Wooden Wall as part of a barn-style storage vignette.

Normal-type Pokémon with rest-seeking behaviours — Snorlax, Munchlax, Slakoth — are strongly attracted to Hay Piles and will frequently settle on or beside one for extended idle periods. Mosslax reportedly chose its preferred napping site on the island specifically because someone had placed a Hay Pile there first, and has shown no interest in moving since. The Hay Pile's soft, biodegradable character also makes it a surprisingly effective transition material between hard stone surfaces and open garden areas, breaking up flooring monotony with a single placement.
