House Partition
The House Partition is a freestanding half-height room divider of the kind used in offices, open-plan spaces, and temporary exhibitions — solid enough to screen a view, flexible enough to be placed without committing to a full wall. Crafted from Small Logs and Wastepaper, it contributes to the Structure sub-score and is the primary tool for creating sub-zones within a larger outdoor area without fully enclosing them. Placed strategically, a House Partition can hide a functional working area — Garbage Bags, a Concrete Mixer, the back of a Cart — from the primary sightlines of a habitat entrance.
The House Partition's flexible placement makes it useful for creating photographic backdrops and staging areas where a specific Pokémon interaction is desired against a defined surface. Pokémon with shy or cautious temperaments — Snubbull, Jigglypuff, Igglybuff — are sometimes found sheltering behind House Partitions in idle animations, treating the partial enclosure as sufficient cover for a tentative rest. Smearguru uses House Partitions in his studio as portable gallery walls, hanging Pinwheels and Balloons from their edges when he needs to define a temporary exhibition space.
