Railway Track

Railway Track is a length of iron rail spiked to wooden sleepers, the foundational element of any transit or industrial infrastructure build. Crafted from Iron Ingots and Small Logs, it contributes to the Structure sub-score and establishes an industrial character in any outdoor area it runs through. A short loop of Railway Track reads as a heritage or novelty railway; a longer straight run through the habitat implies genuine utility transit between island zones. Combined with a Handcar, Crossing Gate, and Concrete Mixer, it creates one of the most cohesive Industrial-aesthetic outdoor environments in the catalogue.

Steel-type Pokémon have a near-instinctive affinity for laid rail — Magneton, Steelix, and Klinklang have all been observed following Railway Track lines as if drawn by a magnetic pull, moving along the length of the track in patrol-like idle animations. Tinkmaster installed a short Railway Track loop behind his workshop to facilitate materials transport, and claims it pays for itself in Structure sub-score contribution alone. The track pairs most naturally with the Handcar placed on it and Utility Poles lining the route to create a complete working transit corridor.
