Menu Board

The Menu Board is a large chalkboard mounted on a painted wooden frame, designed to display offerings, announcements, or daily specials in hand-lettered text that visitors can read from a short distance. Crafted from Small Logs and Wastepaper, it contributes to the Signage sub-score of your environment and serves both a functional role — guiding visitors through a market, restaurant, or event space — and a strongly atmospheric one, as few items signal an active, inhabited community more clearly than a board covered in writing.

Chef Dente's outdoor cooking areas are never without at least one Menu Board, where the day's Pokémon-inspired dishes are listed in her characteristically ornate handwriting. Normal-type Pokémon with high curiosity ratings will often approach a Menu Board and examine it in idle animations, which players have noted makes for charming screenshots. The Menu Board pairs naturally with a Cart, Sign, and Cash Register for a complete outdoor market or food-stall setup, and its generous size makes it an effective focal point that organises the visual flow of a larger outdoor area.
