Explosive Potion

Explosive Potion is a common potion that deals 10 damage to ALL enemies when used. This damage is applied to every enemy in the encounter simultaneously, making it exclusively useful in multi-enemy fights. It can be obtained from enemy drops, shop purchases, or events.

Explosive Potion shines in the act 1 and act 2 multi-enemy encounters that are otherwise difficult to manage, such as fights with three Louses or the Slime Boss. Against a single boss, it deals only 10 damage which is underwhelming, so it is best saved for or used in multi-enemy rooms. It pairs especially well with Vulnerable — if enemies are already Vulnerable, the 10 AOE damage becomes 15. Because common potions are the least rare, Explosive Potion may be easy to obtain but its value is very situational; discarding it or saving it specifically for a multi-enemy fight is the strategic choice.
