Liquid Bronze

Liquid Bronze is an uncommon potion that grants 3 Thorns when used. Thorns is a buff that deals damage back to any enemy that attacks you, dealing the Thorns value in damage per hit. The 3 Thorns from this potion last for the rest of combat. It is obtained through enemy drops, shop purchases, or events.

Liquid Bronze is most effective against enemies that attack multiple times per turn, as each individual hit triggers the full Thorns value. Against a boss with a 3-hit multi-attack, 3 Thorns deals 9 damage per turn passively. It synergizes with other Thorns-granting relics and cards, stacking with Ironclad's Flame Barrier or the Watcher's Indignation. In act 1 and early act 2 where enemies attack frequently, the reflected damage can be quite meaningful. It is less useful in late-game scenarios where enemies deal infrequent but massive single hits, and its value diminishes against bosses with few attack actions.
