Rototiller
Rototiller tills the soil — it's right there in the name. In practice, this means converting hard, dead ground into soft, cultivated earth suitable for growing things. It's the preparation move: before you can plant, you often need to till.
How to Learn It
Rototiller is taught by Drilbur, a mole-like Ground-type Pokémon who naturally excels at moving earth. Attracting and befriending a Drilbur — they favor areas with loose or broken ground — eventually makes this move available to Ditto.
Uses in the World
Tilled soil enables cropland and allows plants to be moved or transplanted rather than simply placed from scratch. This makes Rototiller particularly useful for reorganizing the island's layout as your plans for a biome evolve. You might plant Tall Grass in one location early, then use Rototiller later to relocate it as you develop a more considered design.
There's also an indirect use: Drilbur itself has the Builder specialty, which means befriending one contributes to the island's construction capacity beyond just the move they teach.
