A single Garbage Bin near a seating area, path junction, or docking point communicates that the inhabitants of this island have organised themselves well enough to share a common bin.

The Garbage Bin's iron construction and urban associations make it a natural fit alongside Harbor Streetlights, Stone Tiling, and Concrete in a city-district outdoor aesthetic. Trubbish, Grimer, and Muk variants are drawn to it even more reliably than to Garbage Bags, making it a useful low-cost attraction tool for Poison-type Pokémon.
